How much does a sweep cost?

A single sweep of a lined stove, or an open fire costs just £59 from February to September, and £69 from October to January.

Inactive birds nest removal is a fixed £150​

Do you offer discounts?

Yes.  If you book your sweep appointment for dates between February and September, we will discount each by £10, to £59 per sweep. Normal rate is £69 a sweep.

 

Do I need to do anything for my appointment?

Please do NOT use your appliance the night before your sweep.

Please ensure an area of 2m x 2m in front of your fire or stove for your chimney sweep to work in.

Please clear your hearth in order for your sweep to be able to access your appliance.

Please remove any ash from your appliance before we arrive.

Please ensure direct access to a mains power point for our equipment.

Please ensure there is room for your sweep to park close to your property for loading and unloading tools.

 

How long will a sweep take?

When booking, you will be given a two hour window for the arrival of your sweep. Please allow around an hour from arrival of your sweep for your appointment.

How often should my chimney be swept?

Your certificate will be valid for up to 12 months. Sometimes this can be reduced if your sweep feels that it would be safer for your appliance to be swept more frequently. This will depend on appliance design, usage, and how much waste is removed when your chimney is swept.
